If you are in this part of Wyoming make sure to pay a visit to Thayer Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. The Bighorn Mountains is one of the things that make Thayer Lake so good, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Tensleep Creek. The warmest time of the year at Thayer Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's while overnight lows are commonly in the 30's. High temperatures

good whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Edelman Trail. There's so much to do here at Thayer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Geneva Campground is a pleasant location for that; why not take a little visit
to Edelman Creek while you're here. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bighorn Mountains. Going for a hike on the Cliff Lake Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and at Thayer Lake you can see
Bighorn Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Antelope Butte are so inviting nobody can resist, and dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY. Any time is a splendid time at Thayer Lake if you love
the outdoors. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Big Horn Ski; Thayer Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Coffeen Park Campground is a good local campground. Thayer Lake gets very little rain; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is February.
