Lakes are pleasant; Lost Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Telephone Lakes, and The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a good site to get some rest. Don't leave Telephone Lakes without first going for a hike along the Lakes Trail, and the view of Browns Peak is gorgeous. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Telephone Lakes, you'll locate Round Lake which is a striking lake; whitewater       paddling is glorious on North Platte River. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Snowy Range is in the vicinity of Telephone Lakes, and a fine location to camp here at Telephone Lakes is Upper Nash Fork Campground. High temperatures at Telephone Lakes through the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's                  with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Telephone Lakes. Just can't get enough of Telephone Lakes. There's delightful hiking along the Medicine Bow Trail; Telephone Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lewis Lake Campground is a good local campground. So many fun things to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains, not enough time. Go for a hike on the Circle Trail, also Little Brooklyn Lake Dam is worth going to while you're here. Telephone Lakes is a location that is relatively dried up typically; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
