Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Telephone Lakes. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Telephone Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC; in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Platte       River. Yeah, come up here to the Medicine Bow Mountains for a wonderful time. Hiking along the Medicine Bow Trail is perfect fun, and Telephone Lakes is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Lewis Lake Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Telephone Lakes is right by the Lakes Trail, and of course, this is a great region for people who like                  lakes, Cutthoat Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. The Circle Trail offers hiking at its best; at Telephone Lakes you can make out Browns Peak. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Why not visit Little Brooklyn Lake Dam while you're here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Telephone Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Upper Nash Fork Campground. Telephone Lakes is usually a quite waterless place; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Lost Lake is one of those close by, and the snow is fine at Snowy Range. This lake is so wonderful.
