All the outdoors fun things in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back time and again. Don't leave Tayo Lake without first going for a hike along the Little Sandy Trail; Tayo Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Big Sandy Campground is a brilliant local campground. Around Tayo Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through May, and December is the month       with the least moisture. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a brilliant time. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Tayo Lake. Chimney Rock is an interesting thing to see while you're here at Tayo Lake, and the Dutch Joe Larsen Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a great site to get some rest, and the sight of scenic Wind River Peak is pleasant. This lake is so wonderful. There's delightful hiking along the                  Ice Lakes Trail, and a lake nearby is Coon Lake. There's so much to do here at Tayo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dickinson Creek Campground is a magnificent place for that, as expected you could also go to Mountain Sheep Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Through the summertime at Tayo Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's.
