This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Shoshone River for all you adrenaline junkies; Sylvan Reservoir is not the only location close by, Darrah Number 1 Reservoir is a close by lake. There's always Sylvan Dam to visit near Sylvan Reservoir; Sylvan Reservoir is right by the Timber Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Tooth is a peak       you can catch a sight of from Sylvan Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors The Cody is a great site to spend a night or two. At Sylvan Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is December. A lake close by is Coe Reservoir; why not camp at TK's RV Park if you're here at Sylvan Reservoir. So much enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range, just mind-boggling. Dry warm beds await you at                  Cody Cowboy Village, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Sylvan Reservoir; Jack Creek Trail is a nice local trail. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Absaroka Range. You can run the rapids of Greybull River in close proximity to Sylvan Reservoir; Pete Miller Park is a lovely place any time of year. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Sylvan Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Sylvan Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Having a glorious time at Sylvan Reservoir is trouble-free.
