Swedes Cabin Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites Laramie, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Laramie River. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Swedes Cabin Lake. Camping       at North Fork - Medicine Bow National Forest is always a great experience. During the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Swedes Cabin Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Swedes Cabin Lake dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Swedes Cabin Lake without first going                  for a hike along the Overland Trail, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Laramie is a nice site to get some rest. If you came to camp Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest is a good place to do that, and the slopes of Snowy Range are so inviting nobody can resist.
