This lake is so wonderful. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains, not enough time. A good close by hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC, as expected you could also take a look at Lost Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. At Swastika Lake you don’t see much rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody       nearby loves skiing at Snowy Range, also Little Brooklyn Lake Dam is worth a visit if you're here. Swastika Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. High temperatures at Swastika Lake during the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Swastika Lake. Stay the night at Upper Nash Fork Campground, and going for a hike                  on the Lakes Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Swastika Lake. Drift down the rapids of North Platte River in a kayak, and nearby you find the Circle Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. There are good locations to explore along the Medicine Bow Trail, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Cutthoat Lake is just a very short distance away. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
