     While you're here at Swan Lake, you could also explore gorgeous Rye Pond, and Mulherin Creek is a fine whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Swan Lake is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Rocky Mountain Campground is a brilliant site to camp nearby, and a great close by hotel is Super 8 Gardiner/Yellowstone Park Area. Be careful coming to Swan Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Some close by water includes Indian  
   Creek. Terrace Mountain can be seen from Swan Lake; if you're here you can take a hike along the Sepulcher Loop Trail.
During the months of summer at Swan Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Swan Lake. If you need a location to stay Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a good choice, and
 
               swamps like Swan Lake Flat are fun to stop at. Beaver Ponds is a nearby lake that you could check out; a cool spot to check out is The Hoodoos.
Gardners Hole is a striking location any time of year; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Swan Lake you could always discover Golden Gate, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Beaver Lakes Loop Trail. Swan Lake is commonly a reasonably arid location; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February.
There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Swan Lake. It's always good to stop at Rustic Falls, and Indian Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground.
