Swamp Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Camping is available at Hunter Peak Campground, and swing by Beartooth Creek it's a fine place to stop at. Swamp Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Absaroka Range. Get wet paddling on Crandall Creek; if you get bored of Swamp Lake you could also go to nearby Beartooth Lake. Through

| | the summertime at Swamp Lake highs are commonly in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Swamp Lake. Very gorgeous scenery and great skiing is what you get at Red Lodge Mountain; you can go for a hike on the Lodgepole Trail. This lake is so wonderful. close by called the Reef Creek Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Absaroka Range. Sill Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; you must undeniably stop at Cathedral Cliffs
while here. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Oliver Gulch is always fun. This site rules, just check out all the entertaining things to do next to Swamp Lake. A great place to camp here at Swamp Lake is Reef Creek Campground,
and going for a hike on the Lewis and Clark Trail is always a perfect adventure. Swamp Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is October.
