Having a wonderful time in the Wind River Range is easy. Stay the night at Scab Creek Campground; do stop at Halls Creek since you're here at Lake Susan. Hiking along the Firehole Trail is splendid fun, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Divide Lake. Lake Susan gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. This lake       is so wonderful. The peak of Halls Butte can be distinguished from Lake Susan; Bull Lake Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Lake Susan is located in the Wind River Range. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Susan reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Lake Susan. Just can't get enough                  of Lake Susan. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder Creek, and going for a hike along the Europe Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Lake Susan is right by the Lake Isabella Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Susan that you need to camp here for a while, Boulder Campground is a brilliant site for that. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Wind River Range.
