Going for a hike on the Timico Lake Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Boulder Creek. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lake Surprise, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Surprise temperatures sink to the-10's. Lake Surprise is a location       that is rather dry generally; the month with most of the rain is May; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the North Fork Trail, and a brilliant spot to camp here at Lake Surprise is Boulder Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. This place, Lake Surprise, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a                  magnificent location to spend a night or two; a charming lake like Barnes Lake is a nice place to stop at. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Wind River Range has to offer. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a nice location to get some rest. Don't leave Lake Surprise without first going for a hike along the Burnt Lake Trail; why not camp at Boulder Lake Campground if you're here at Lake Surprise. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Wind River Range is so good!
