Sunset Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Teton Range. While you're here at Sunset Lake you can take a hike along the Open Canyon Trail, and if you have the time, Grand Teton National Park is a national park worth taking a look at. Sunset Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. There are plenty of folks from Jackson here at Sunset Lake, and if you

| | don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ditch Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area right next door to Sunset Lake has to offer. Bitch Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can stay the night at Teton Campground.

to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Alpenhof Lodge is a pleasant choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sunset Lake has to offer, you can camp at Teton Village / Jackson West
KOA. Here at Sunset Lake you can make out Battleship Mountain, and Schoolroom Glacier is an attention-grabbing thing to catch a glimpse of if you're here.
So much exciting stuff in the Teton Range, just striking. Places like
Alaska Basin are good to check out. Lakes are good; Basin Lakes is a lake that's near Sunset Lake. Summertime highs at Sunset Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime
comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sunset Lake. Not far from Sunset Lake, you'll come across Snowdrift Lake which is a pretty lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Alaska
Basin Trail.
The Teton Range scenery is always beautiful. Dry warm beds await you at Snake River Lodge And Spa, and Jackson Hole is a very popular ski area around here. Sunset Lake is a location that is rather waterless generally;
the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and August is when it's the driest.
And that's not everything there is to do here in the Teton Range.
