Big Sandy Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and Sunrise Lake is right by the Halls Lake Trail. Around Sunrise Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Sunrise Lake, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, regularly in the 40's. The wintertime brings
highs down to the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Sunrise Lake tend to be in the-10's. All year is a glorious time in the Wind River Range if you like the outdoors. You're probably into lakes, Upper Silver Lakes is
one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two; hiking along the Crossover Trail is pleasant fun.
