There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Encampment River, and a perfect place to camp here at Summit Reservoir is Lakeside Campground. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Golden Clover Reservoir Number 2 near Summit Reservoir, and a tremendous place to visit is Addison Gulch. If you come at the right time of year, North Platte River offers some splendid whitewater; a lovely lake like Golden Clover Reservoir       Number 1 is a glorious place to explore. At Summit Reservoir you don’t see much rain; May is the wettest month with most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a good site to spend a night or two, and there's delightful hiking along the State Line Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little journey to Summit Dam if you're here at Summit Reservoir, and Summit                  Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a pleasant location to get some rest, and the Beaver Creek Stump Park Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the summer highs here at Summit Reservoir get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
