Good hiking is available along the Mistymoon Trail; you can hit the slopes at Big Horn Ski in the neighborhood. Throughout the summer months, highs regularly are in the 60's at Summit Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Summit Lake. So many entertaining things to do in       the Bighorn Mountains, not sufficient time. This location, the Bighorn Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Don't leave Summit Lake without first going for a hike along the Cliff Lake Trail, and a scenic lake like Lake Solitude is a brilliant site to go to. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Summit Lake will keep you coming back many times. Do have a look at Cliff Lake next to Summit Lake, it's a scenic lake, and whitewater paddling is great                  on Paintrock Creek. Summit Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Coffeen Park Campground is a nice location to camp nearby, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tensleep Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Geneva Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Summit Lake; Main Paint Rock Trail is a great local trail.
