Sulphur Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. After a long day outdoors Yodeler Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and there's whitewater on Crandall Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Shoshone River - North Fork in the neighborhood of Sulphur Lake; it's a great idea to explore Company Creek.

So much exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. There's so much to do here at Sulphur Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wapiti Campground is a splendid
place for that, and great hiking is available along the Lodgepole Trail. Sulphur Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sulphur Lake has to offer, you can camp at Little
Sunlight Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sulphur Lake; Crandall Cutoff Trail is a great local trail.
Through the days of summer here at Sulphur Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. Once the sun
is down it sinks down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Sulphur Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
