Lakes are great; Copper Lakes is a lake that's near Sulphur Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Crandall Creek. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Sulphur Lake called the Reef Creek Trail; a great site to camp here at Sulphur Lake is Little Sunlight Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka                  Range. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sulphur Lake, you'll hit upon Swamp Lake which is a wonderful lake, and camping is available at Wapiti Campground. Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Shoshone River - North Fork, and a wonderful place to stop by nearby is Strawberry Gulch. Looking for some flowing water? Try Company Creek, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Lodgepole Trail. That right there is plenty of amusing things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all.
