Sugarloaf Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Stay the night at Lucerne Valley Campground, and Sugarloaf Basin is a delightful spot to stretch your legs a bit. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Sugarloaf Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Sugarloaf Reservoir.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Oak Tree Inn Green River, and the Canyon Road Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
Sugarloaf Reservoir is pretty dry ordinarily; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is January. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River. Sugarloaf Reservoir is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Bootleg Campground is a nice location to camp nearby.
Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do right next door to Sugarloaf Reservoir. Washam Spring is
a gorgeous spot to check out while you're at Sugarloaf Reservoir, and it's a good idea to stop by Sugarloaf Marsh Creek. If you need a spot to stay Green River Super 8 Motel is a good choice, and close by you discover the Little Hole Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.
