Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Snowy Range, and if you've had enough of Sucker Lake, Sucker Reservoir is nearby. You can run the rapids of North Platte River next to Sucker Lake, and the gorgeous Snowy Range is here. All through the summertime highs here at Sucker Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures       are in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sucker Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. It is very dried up here at Sucker Lake frequently; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Sucker Lakes Reservoir is near Sucker Lake; on a lovely day you get a good vista of Snowy Range from Sucker Lake. Camping                  at Mirror Lake Campground is always a splendid experience; close by you stumble on the Circle Trail which is a great hiking trail. All the outdoors exciting things in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Do go to Sucker Dam while you're here at Sucker Lake; there are plenty of people from Laramie here at Sucker Lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Sucker Lake. If you came to camp Silver Lake Campground is a fine location to do that, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Lakes Trail. The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
