There's so much to do here at Sturgeon Number 1 Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Esterbrook Campground is a nice place for that. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Laramie Mountains has       it all. A nice close by hotel is Best Western Torchlite Motor Inn; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Laramie River. This lake is so wonderful. Davidson Flats is a pretty site any time of year, and you can stay the night at Friend Park Campground. All through the days of summer highs here at Sturgeon Number 1 Reservoir get into the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 40's. All through                  the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Sturgeon Number 1 Reservoir descend into the 10's.
