Holiday Inn LARAMIE - UNIVERSITY OF WY is a great location to get some rest, and a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Laramie River. Throughout the summertime months here at Strong Number 1 Reservoir, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Strong Number 1 Reservoir dipping down into the 0's       through winter nights. You'll meet a lot of folks from Laramie here; don't leave Strong Number 1 Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Pole Mountain Trail. Not much rain falls here at Strong Number 1 Reservoir; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Strong Number 1 Reservoir to see the water at Ella Reservoir Dam, and Strong Number 1 Reservoir                  is great enough to spend more than a day at, Riverside Kampground is a great local campground. Go for a hike on the Horse Creek Trail; don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Snow Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Laramie. There are other locations here than Strong Number 1 Reservoir, for example Bliss Number 1 Reservoir; a good site to camp here at Strong Number 1 Reservoir is Tie City Campground. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be.
