A good place to camp here at Strong Number 1 Reservoir is Tie City Campground; there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Ridge Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Strong Number 1 Reservoir you will meet lots of people from close by Laramie; you can go for a hike on the Pole Mountain Trail. Comfort Inn Laramie is a fine spot to get some rest, and camping at Riverside Kampground is always a perfect experience. This lake is so wonderful.
