Many people like to go to String Lake. Near String Lake you stumble on the Jenny Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Ditch Creek. After a long day outdoors Snake River Lodge And Spa is a nice site to spend a night or two; if you're visiting from Jackson, you won't be the only one. It is very dehydrated here at String Lake regularly; May is when you get the most rain

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Snow King is a very popular ski area close at hand, and if time allows, Grand Teton National Park is a national park worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Cascade Creek if you're here at String Lake; Jackson Hole has nice slopes and a friendly staff.

is a splendid hiking trail nearby. High temperatures at String Lake during the summer are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 20's while String Lake night low
temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. On a good day at String Lake you can take a hike along the String Lake Trail, and a short journey to Hidden Falls is always worthwhile.
Dry warm beds await you at Alpenhof Lodge.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything String Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jenny Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Gros Ventre River, and not far from String
Lake you'll locate Arrowhead Pool which is a beautiful lake. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do in the vicinity of String Lake. A journey to Cascade Canyon is always fun. There's so much to do here at String Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Signal Mountain Campground is a great site for that.
