A good vista of pretty Roaring Fork Mountain is available from Stough Creek Lakes, and Stough Creek Lakes is right by the Stough Creek Basin Trail. Stough Creek Lakes is a location that is relatively dry generally; most of the rain falls through May; December is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area       in the vicinity of Stough Creek Lakes has to offer. Nearby lakes? Sure, Leg Lake is in the vicinity of Stough Creek Lakes; whitewater paddling is brilliant on Middle Popo Agie River. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wind River Range. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Stough Creek Lakes. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range.
