Steele Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Paddling on Bitch Creek is so much fun, and do take a hike on the West Boundary Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Falls River; if you're here you can take a hike along the Bechler River Trail. You just have to adore Steele Lake. | | Steele Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place to camp here at Steele Lake is Cave Falls Campground; swing by Dog Creek it's a splendid location to check out. During the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Steele Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. | |

For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Steele Lake. Why not camp at Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn if you're here at Steele Lake; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Boundary Creek Trail.
