Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and Bills Park is right here at Squirrel Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. Camping is available at Dickinson Creek Campground. Lakes are great; Stough Creek Lakes is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Squirrel Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. Sweetwater Gap is a splendid place to explore, and going for a hike on the Ice Lakes Trail is always a nice adventure. Why not camp at Fiddlers Lake Campground if you're here at Squirrel Lake, and nearby you come across the Pinto Park Trail which is a good hiking trail. Throughout the warm months at Squirrel Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime                  highs are usually in the 30's; night lows at Squirrel Lake during the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more enjoyable stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Middle Popo Agie River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby; let's not forget Basco Creek which is a stream that you may come across while here. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Coon Lake, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Stough Creek Basin Trail. Squirrel Lake is located in the Wind River Range.
