Summer brings highs in the 80's to Squirrel Lake while night lows are mostly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Squirrel Lake. This location, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Camping at Squirrel Lake is great fun, Fiddlers Lake Campground is a great local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Silver Spur Motel is a glorious choice. This lake is       so wonderful. Basco Creek is near Squirrel Lake and is always a pleasure to explore; going for a hike on the Ice Lakes Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Squirrel Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Near Squirrel Lake you discover Sweetwater Gap which is a magnificent location to stop at, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Pinto Park Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Dickinson Creek Campground is a pleasant place                  to camp, and locations like Bills Park are wonderful to check out. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Around Squirrel Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and December on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Squirrel Lake.
