Why not take a refreshing hike along the Scab Lake Trail, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Pole Creek. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Square Top Reservoir. At Square Top Reservoir during the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and       winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Square Top Reservoir. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Square Top Reservoir; Emigrant Trail is a brilliant local trail, and you can stay the night at Ox-yoke Acres Campground. Around Square Top Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through May; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
