If you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Inn - Laramie is a tremendous choice, and Sportsman Reservoir is right by the Lincoln Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest is a great location to camp, unsurprisingly       you could also explore Sportsman Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. North Fork - Medicine Bow National Forest is a delightful campground nearby; a tremendous close by hotel is First Gold Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Sportsman Reservoir gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. Hiking along the Pole Mountain Trail                  is brilliant fun; Sportsman Reservoir is not far at all from Laramie. During the summer months at Sportsman Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's; the nighttime is a little colder of course, commonly in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Sportsman Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Sportsman Reservoir. Sportsman Dam is worth a visit while you're here; perhaps you're looking for close by lakes?
