If you are in Johnson county it's always a good idea to stop by Spear Lake. Spear Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains. The warmest time of the year at Spear Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, mostly in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Spear Lake tend to be in the 0's. That right there is lots of entertaining

This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tensleep Creek. Lakes? Sure, Gunboat Lake is close at hand. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Mistymoon Trail, and if you came to camp Highland Park Campground is a wonderful site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. and since you're here you can take a hike along the Solitude Trail.
If the weather is pretty, you obtain a wonderful view of Black Tooth Mountain from Spear Lake, and hiking along the Cliff Lake Trail is pleasant fun. Around Spear
Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; April is the month that gets the most snow, and February on the other hand is the driest. Be careful coming to the Bighorn Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Really tremendous
skiing awaits you at Antelope Butte, and Spear Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Geneva Campground is a fine local campground.
