The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Having a glorious time at Sparhawk Lake is uncomplicated. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sparhawk Lake has to offer, you can camp at Long Lake Campground, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Sawtooth Meadows is a beautiful location any time of year, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Sparhawk Lake; Beartooth       Loop National Recreation Trail is a glorious local trail. Yeah, come up here to the Absaroka Range for a great time. The Lewis and Clark Trail offers hiking at its best; you can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. Thief Creek is a great local stream. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Sparhawk Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Sparhawk Lake                  dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. The amount of rainfall that falls at Sparhawk Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls all through June, and October on the other hand is the driest.
