At South Twin Lake you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Mirror Lake is a lake close at hand, and beautiful scenery and pleasant skiing is what you obtain at Snowy Range. On a gorgeous day you get a sight of Gold Hill from South Twin Lake; Silver Lake Campground       is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Laramie come to South Twin Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near South Twin Lake has to offer. There's some exciting stuff to see at Keystone Dam close to South Twin Lake; after a long day outdoors The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a fine place to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. Mirror Lake                  Campground is a delightful campground nearby; going for a hike on the Lakes Trail is always a delightful adventure. Go for a hike on the Circle Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Bellamy Lake. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. There is a great hiking trail near South Twin Lake called the Medicine Bow Trail, and North Platte River is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Summertime highs at South Twin Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to South Twin Lake.
