This lake is so wonderful. A striking lake like Sawtooth Lakes next to South Piney Lakes is a good spot to pop by, and a magnificent site to camp here at South Piney Lakes is Highland Park Campground. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Bighorn Mountains, too magnificent to be true. Don't leave South Piney Lakes without first going for a hike along the Solitude       Trail; camping is available at Lake Geneva Campground. Summertime highs at South Piney Lakes mostly tend to be in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at South Piney Lakes during the winter regularly fall into the 0's. Not much rainfall falls here at South Piney Lakes; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow while February is                  the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is located in the wonderful Bighorn Mountains. Go for a hike on the Cliff Lake Trail; Black Tooth Mountain is clearly visible from South Piney Lakes. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at South Piney Lakes. Lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Glacier Lake in the neighborhood of South Piney Lakes, and get wet paddling on Tensleep Creek.
