by the Lizard Head Trail, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Bull Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at South Fork Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Dickinson Creek Campground is a glorious
place for that. Lakes are great; Valentine Lake is a lake that's near South Fork Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a good choice, and going for a hike along the Bears Ears Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.

 | Lake seemed fishless although a beautiful lake. Was there 2 days and only saw 1 rise. Nice place to camp though as there is low traffic. Make sure you follow outlet to avoid massive rock pile.... |
Ice Lakes
 | 1 PHOTO I went up there 15 years ago and just got back from another week this last weekend....the fishing was much, much better in the past. I think the WY Game and Fish spends all their golden trout stocking funds on wolves now. The stocking ended the year the wolves were reintroduced.........Hmmm, isn't that interesting! Also....too many llamas and horses bringing the light-weights up the mountain to clutter the place this time....the trails looked like a lost group of Custard's cavalry must still be riding the trails. :( But the beauty of the area will always remain. Thank you, Lord, for your beautiful handiwork.... |
