Sonnicant Lake is located in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Best Western Pinedale Inn, and if you get bored of Sonnicant Lake you could also explore close by Lake Kagevah. Not much rain falls here at Sonnicant Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain while December is usually the driest month. So many entertaining things to do here at Sonnicant       Lake, too good to be true. A splendid location to visit in the neighborhood of Sonnicant Lake is Kagevah Pass, and there's great hiking along the Fremont Trail. Sonnicant Lake is right by the Pyramid Lake Trail; Wykee Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Summertime highs at Sonnicant Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Sonnicant                  Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Camping at Scab Creek Campground is always a wonderful experience, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Bull Lake Creek.
