Float down the rapids of Bull Lake Creek in a kayak, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Pinedale Inn. Ice Lakes is a magnificent lake in close proximity to Lake Solitude, and a good place to camp here at Lake Solitude is Scab Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of Baily Peak from Lake Solitude is lovely. Lakes? Sure, Lake Polaris is in the vicinity. And that's       not all the things to do here in the Wind River Range. Lake Solitude is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area in close proximity to Lake Solitude has to offer. Don't leave Lake Solitude without first going for a hike along the Pyramid Lake Trail; you can go for a hike on the Fremont Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Lake Solitude; May is the wettest month with most rain;                  December is when it's the driest. Going for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail is always a great adventure, and camping at Big Sandy Campground is always a splendid experience. During the warm days of summer at Lake Solitude temperatures are regularly in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
