A visit to Solar Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Solar Lake; Lewis and Clark Trail is a magnificent local trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Red Lodge Mountain. Solar Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Absaroka Range.

| | at Solar Lake. There's so much to do here at Solar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Long Lake Campground is a brilliant location for that. The Beauty Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Solar Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; through June this area sees the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest.

to do in the Absaroka Range. There's splendid hiking along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail, and if you came to camp Buena Vista Campground is a great spot to do that. Summertime at Solar Lake arrives with high temperatures
in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Solar Lake are in the 0's. This spot is unbeatable, just look at all the cool
stuff to do next to Solar Lake. If you need a location to stay Yodeler Motel is a great choice; float down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak.
