Snow Lake is a nice lake to visit. Take a hike on the Clay Butte Trail, and a lake close by is Sheep Lake. Snow Lake is not the only location close by, Abandoned Lake is a close by lake, and Red Lodge Mountain is a wonderful local ski area. Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Glacier Lake South Dam has splendid water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Snow Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do

This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Snow Lake is Beartooth Lake Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. A common amount of rain falls here at Snow Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is October. but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Camping at Island Lake Campground is always a pleasant experience, and dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Through the warmest time of the year at Snow
Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Snow Lake are in the 0's.
The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful.
