Snow Lake is a nice lake to visit. On a fine day at Snow Lake you can take a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail, and a lake nearby is Wall Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. All through the summertime highs here at Snow Lake get into the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Snow Lake tend to

| | be in the 0's. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range. Places like Beartooth Plateau are splendid to take a look at, needless to say you could also stop at Becker Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Yodeler Motel is a good location to get some rest; there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Clay Butte Trail. at Snow Lake you can take a hike along the Beauty Lake Trail, and Glacier Lake South Dam is delightful. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Snow Lake. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Snow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beartooth Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Red Lodge Mountain; you
can stay the night at Island Lake Campground. Snow Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
