Having a brilliant time in the Absaroka Range is easy. Emerald Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Greybull River. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Absaroka Range has to offer. A cool spot to visit in the vicinity of Snow Lake is Norton Point; if you need a site to       stay The Cody is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. One of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Snow Lake is Coffman Butte, and Double Cabin Campground is a nice local campground. Take a hike on the Wiggins Fork Trail; Shoshone River - South Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby. At Snow Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all                  the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a great campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Frontier Creek Trail. Any time is a nice time at Snow Lake if you fancy the outdoors. If you get bored of Snow Lake, you could also go to close by Elk Lake, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Cougar Pass Trail. Summertime highs at Snow Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Snow Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
