The beauty of The Six Lakes is reason enough to stop by. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to The Six Lakes. Camping at Granite Creek Campground is always a great experience; going for a hike along the Purdy Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. So much cool stuff to do here in the Wind River Range, too splendid to be true. A tremendous sight of pretty Crystal Peak is available from The Six Lakes,

| | and since you're here you can take a hike along the Pass Creek Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer at The Six Lakes highs are mostly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at The Six Lakes temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. a perfect nearby hotel is Colter Bay Village. The Six Lakes is located in the Wind River Range. All year is a nice time in the Wind River Range if you love the outdoors. You can run the rapids of Gros Ventre River in the vicinity
of The Six Lakes, and if you've had enough of The Six Lakes, Shoal Lake is nearby. It is very dried out here at The Six Lakes commonly; during January this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. Camping is
available at Crystal Creek Campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Granite Highline Trail.
