    In Wyoming there are many beautiful lakes, The Sinks is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Wind River Range. You get a tremendous view of Mexican Joe Hill from The Sinks, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Inn At Lander is a good choice. You truly ought to have a thing about the Wind River Range. The Sinks is a spot with many visitors from Riverton, and dry  
   warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge.
Be careful coming to The Sinks, you might not ever want to return home again. Deer Spring is an inspiring site to explore while you're here, and a pleasant visit to Meyer Basin is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. This lake is so wonderful. The Sinks is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Sinks Canyon Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby; The Sinks is right by the Indian Trail.
 
               At The Sinks you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is January.
Take a side trip to Crooked Creek, and you can stay the night at Bruce Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Wolf Trail offers hiking at its best, and you could always discover Quakenstead Gulch.
All through the days of summer highs here at The Sinks reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at The Sinks are in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Middle Popo Agie River; do take a hike on the Cold Spring Trail.
