Silver Lake is a location that is rather dried up ordinarily; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Silver Lake. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Peter D's RV Park is a great location for that, and if you need       a spot to stay Quality Inn Sheridan is a great choice. There's nice hiking along the Penrose Park Trail, and you'll discover a charming lake called Hanes Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Sheridan/Big Horn Mountains KOA is a good spot to do that; Silver Lake is a place with many visitors from Sheridan. A quick visit to Jenks Creek near Silver Lake is a brilliant idea, and Orr Gulch is also a great spot to discover. Go for a hike on                  the Story Penrose Trail; do explore Duncan Reservoir, it's a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Clear Creek. Summertime highs at Silver Lake typically tend to be in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Silver Lake tend to be in the 0's. A fine nearby hotel is Sheridan-Days Inn, and don't leave Silver Lake without first going for a hike along the Stockwell Trail.   Quality Inn Sheridan, Sheridan 9 miles away 100 percent non-smoking hotel.
