This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Penrose Park Trail, and nearby you find great locations like Orr Gulch. At Silver Lake you always meet someone from Sheridan; not far from Silver Lake you'll locate Duncan Reservoir which is a delightful lake. Summertime highs at Silver Lake ordinarily tend       to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Silver Lake sink into the 0's.
