    A visit to Sibley Lake is always a good idea. Sibley Lake in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. There are some fine whitewater spots on Tongue River; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sibley Lake; Adelaide Trail is a great local trail. So much entertaining stuff in the Bighorn Mountains, just mind-boggling. Don't leave Sibley Lake without first going for a hike along the Wolf Creek Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Horn  
   Ski is rather near. Sibley Lake is a location that is quite dried out typically; the month with most of the snow is April, and the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a nice place to spend a night or two; there's whitewater on Shell Creek for all you thrill seekers. And that's not everything you can do here in the Bighorn Mountains. You'll need more than a day to look at everything
 
               Sibley Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Tongue Campground; wonderful hiking is available along the Dry Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Sibley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, East Woodrock Campground is a great location for that.
This lake is located in the wonderful Bighorn Mountains. For the duration of the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 60's at Sibley Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Sibley Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. If you need a location to stay Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a good choice, and Antelope Butte is a perfect local ski area.
There's some exciting stuff to spot at Sibley Lake Dam near Sibley Lake, and you simply have to stop by Cutler Hill since you're here at Sibley Lake.
