The beauty of Shrimp Lake attracts many people from all around. What a site this is for outdoors people. Do set aside some time for Round Prairie if you're here at Shrimp Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Absaroka Range. There is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Shrimp Lake called the Miller Creek Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone offers some good whitewater. | | so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Specimen Ridge Trail is always a nice adventure, and why not camp at Pebble Creek Campground if you're here at Shrimp Lake.
The Thunderer Cutoff Trail is a great hiking trail close to Shrimp Lake, and Soda Butte Campground is a tremendous local campground. A brilliant close by hotel is Comfort Inn Yellowstone North, and it's a great idea to stop
at Pebble Creek. Not much rain falls here at Shrimp Lake; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest.
