This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Snake River, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Mallard Lake Trail. All year is a great time in the Teton Range if you adore the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Colter Bay Village; do take a hike on the Shoshone Lake Trail. During the long summer days at Shoshone Lake highs are mostly in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the       40's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Shoshone Lake fall into the 0's. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Shoshone Lake is a beautiful lake in the Teton Range. Shoshone Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Lizard Creek Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and Shoshone Lake is right by the De Lacy Creek Trail. Around Shoshone Lake                  you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month.
