This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Popo Agie River; don't leave Shoshone Lake without first going for a hike along the Smith Lake Trail. Throughout the days of summer here at Shoshone Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it       descends down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Shoshone Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Take a side spree to Shoshone Creek; a tremendous place to camp here at Shoshone Lake is Bruce Campground. You simply have to go for the Wind River Range. Going for a hike on the Pinto Park Trail is always a glorious adventure, and a nice nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge.                  Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the Wind River Range. Shoshone Lake is pretty dried up commonly; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is December. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are really bountiful here at Shoshone Lake. Camping at Dickinson Creek Campground is always a fine experience; a glorious place like Cyclone Basin here at Shoshone Lake is too great to miss.
