The beauty of Shoshone Lake attracts many people from all around. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. There's so much to do here at Shoshone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bruce Campground is a glorious location for that; not far from Shoshone Lake you'll find Beauty Lake which is a pretty lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Shoshone Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dickinson Creek Campground. Lakes are great; Shoshone Lake is a lake that's close to Shoshone Lake. on Middle Popo Agie River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. At Shoshone Lake you don’t see much precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Summer at Shoshone Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for
Shoshone Lake. Good hiking is available along the High Meadow Trail, and Cyclone Basin is a nice place here at Shoshone Lake. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful.
