During the long summer days here at Shoshone Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down all       through the wintertime temperatures at Shoshone Lake sink into the 10's. Shoshone Lake is a location that is relatively dried out generally; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is December. Shoshone Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Shoshone Lake has to offer. This is a nice area for people who like lakes. Beauty Lake is a lake in close                  proximity; there are great places to look at along the Pinto Park Trail. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back many times. Dickinson Creek Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and unsurprisingly Shoshone Creek flows through this vicinity. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a great time. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Middle Popo Agie River, and going for a hike on the High Meadow Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Bruce Campground, and everybody loves Cyclone Basin.
