Shoshone Lake Dam is stunning and it's in close proximity to Shoshone Lake, and lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Shoshone Lake. If the weather is delightful here at Shoshone Lake, you can go for a hike along the Smith Lake Trail, and Middle Popo Agie River is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful.       Shoshone Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Bruce Campground is a nice local campground, and the High Meadow Trail is a great hiking trail close by. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wind River Range. Near Shoshone Lake you find the Pinto Park Trail which is a great hiking trail; swing by Shoshone Creek it's a splendid place to pop by. These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Wind                  River Range. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a great choice. So much fun stuff right next door to Shoshone Lake, simply extraordinary. If you came to camp Dickinson Creek Campground is a magnificent site to do that, and Cyclone Basin is right here at Shoshone Lake. It is very arid here at Shoshone Lake typically; May is when you get the most rain here, and December meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Shoshone Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's.
