Shirley Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Sawmill is a tremendous choice, and Shirley Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, The Narrows Campground is a great local campground. Whitewater paddling is fine on Boulder Creek, and a fine nearby hotel is The Sawmill Lodge. Around Shirley Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; January is the month that gets the most snow;

So many amusing things to do here in the Wind River Range, too good to be true. Don't leave Shirley Lake without first paying a visit to Porcupine Creek Falls, and going for a hike along the Porcupine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. neighborhood of Shirley Lake is a glorious place to have a look at, and a brilliant location to camp here at Shirley Lake is Whiskey Grove Campground.
If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Shirley
Lake. At Shirley Lake you can make out Big Sheep Mountain, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Jim Creek Trail. While you're here at Shirley Lake you can take a hike along the Lakeside Trail; in case you don’t
have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River. This lake is so wonderful.
At Shirley Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures
are in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Shirley Lake.
