The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Prometheus Spring, and the top of Mount Sheridan is easily observed from Sheridan Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sheridan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Flagg Ranch, and do take a hike on the Harebell Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. Sheridan Lake is a delightful spot to visit       for more than one day, Lizard Creek Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Colter Bay Village is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Sheridan Lake is right by the Mount Sheridan Trail, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Snake River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Heart Lake Trail, and a magnificent close by hotel is Togwotee Mountain Lodge. Through the summertime months at Sheridan Lake temperatures                  are generally in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Sheridan Lake fall into the-10's. The annual rain here at Sheridan Lake is about average; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is ordinarily the driest month.
