Shell Lake is a lake worth visiting. Shell Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. Go for a hike on the Kinky White Trail, and if you came to camp Medicine Lodge Lake Campground is a pleasant spot to do that. There are delightful places to look at along the North High Park Trail. There's so much to do here at Shell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Paint Rock Lake Campground is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Going for

| | a hike on the Edelman Trail is always a delightful adventure; get yourself into a kayak and hit Paintrock Creek. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the Bighorn Mountains has to offer. There's some flowing water nearby, Porcupine Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Tensleep Creek. snow; February is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Shell Lake. Dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn; you can hit the slopes at Big
Horn Ski in close proximity. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Shell Lake, and the night is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 30's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the
sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Shell Lake plunge into the 0's. Having a nice time in the Bighorn Mountains is simple. Antelope Butte is a very popular ski area close at hand.
