Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. On a good day at Sheepherder Lake you can take a hike along the Mistymoon Trail, and Lake Geneva Campground is a perfect campground nearby. So much cool stuff to do at Sheepherder Lake, so little       time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Summit Lake, and you can run the rapids of Paintrock Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. Sheepherder Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Coffeen Park Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Cliff Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Edelman Trail                  is a tremendous hiking trail close to Sheepherder Lake, and not far from Sheepherder Lake you'll stumble on Mistymoon Lake which is a stunning lake. So many cool things to do here in the Bighorn Mountains, too splendid to be true. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Big Horn Ski. It is very dehydrated here at Sheepherder Lake commonly; through the month of April you get the most snow around here while February is generally the driest month. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Sheepherder Lake reach the 60's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 30's.
