For the period of the warm months highs here at Sheep Mountain Reservoir reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly       in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Sheep Mountain Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Fork Reservoir is a great lake near Sheep Mountain Reservoir, and going for a hike along the Nipple Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Little Sandstone Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and lakes are such peaceful                  sites, why not go to Boyer Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. There's so much to do here at Sheep Mountain Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Battle Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that, and here at Sheep Mountain Reservoir you can distinguish Mule Mountain. Not much precipitation falls here at Sheep Mountain Reservoir; most of the rain falls all through May while February is mostly the driest month. You can take a little visit to Sheep Mountain Dam since you're here at Sheep Mountain Reservoir, and don't leave Sheep Mountain Reservoir without first checking out Cottonwood Rim. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Park Range.
