The panorama of charming Black Rib near Lake Shamrock is glorious; camping is available at Lake Geneva Campground. Lake Shamrock is located in the Bighorn Mountains. Summertime at Lake Shamrock comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at       Lake Shamrock. A wonderful close by hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY, and soar down the rapids of Paintrock Creek in a kayak. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Shamrock. A lake nearby is Lake Alibi, and a good place to camp here at Lake Shamrock is Coffeen Park Campground. At Lake Shamrock you don’t see much rainfall; April is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Lake                  Shamrock you can take a hike along the Game Creek Trail, and if you get bored of Lake Shamrock you could also visit nearby Lake Buffalo. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail close to Lake Shamrock called the Cliff Lake Trail; Big Horn Ski is a perfect local ski area. So many cool things in the Bighorn Mountains, just inspiring. If you need a place to stay The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a great choice; if you come at the right time of year, Tongue River offers some glorious whitewater. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Bighorn Mountains.
