This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge; if you come at the right time of year, Bull Lake Creek offers some good whitewater. At Shadow Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and December is when it's the driest. Go for a hike on the Big Sunday Trail; Shadow Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one       day, Big Sandy Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby. Near Shadow Lake you hit upon the Shadow Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Dickinson Creek Campground. So many fun things to do here at Shadow Lake, too pleasant to be true. Going for a hike on the Bears Ears Trail is always a great adventure, and if you get bored of Shadow Lake you could also explore close by Billys Lake. These mountains rock, just look at                  all the cool things to do in the Wind River Range. Bair Peak is a peak you can see from Shadow Lake, and nearby Washakie Pass is a great place to go. Summertime highs at Shadow Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Shadow Lake tend to be in the 10's. Shadow Lake is located in the Wind River Range. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wind River Range.
